LIU Jiandong

Liu Jiandong is currently serving as Chairman of the China Chamber of Commerce to the EU (CCCEU), Chairman of Bank of China (Europe) S.A., and General Manager of Bank of China Limited Luxembourg Branch. 

Since joining Bank of China in 1991, Mr. Liu has held several senior positions in its Head Office, including Director of the Credit Management Department and Risk Management Department. From February 2011 to March 2014, he served as General Manager of the Investment Banking Department. In March 2014, he became General Manager of the Credit Risk Department. From January 2019 to September 2024, he served as Chief Risk Officer of Bank of China Group, overseeing the Bank's global risk management.

Mr. Liu holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Economics from Renmin University of China.
