"Chinese Enterprises in France Eager to Strengthen Cooperation with French and European Companies" — CCICF and Nearly 10 Chinese Companies Participate in In-Depth Interviews with CCCEU and Roland Berger
On August 26, 2024, Secretary General Li Wenguo of Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Chine en France (CCICF) organized an event where nearly ten Chinese enterprises operating in France participated in an in-depth interview for the annual flagship report by the China Chamber of Commerce to the EU (CCCEU) and the global consulting firm Roland Berger. The interview was hosted by Fang Dongkui, Secretary General of the CCCEU.
Secretary General Fang Dongkui stated that France attracts numerous Chinese enterprises to invest and develop, playing a significant role in EU and global affairs. He extended his appreciation to the CCICF for organizing representatives from various industries to provide feedback on the business environment in France, which offers important input for the overall assessment of the business environment for Chinese enterprises in the EU.
CCICF Secretary General Li Wenguo noted that the stable Sino-French relationship and the development of bilateral trade and investment relations have provided numerous opportunities for Chinese enterprises. He expressed his pleasure in organizing Chinese companies in France to participate in the in-depth interview for the CCCEU's annual flagship report. Despite the current challenges in Sino-French and Sino-European relations due to geopolitical issues and major power dynamics, Chinese enterprises in France remain eager to enhance cooperation with French and European business communities to further strengthen economic and trade relations.
Under the organization of the CCICF, representatives and responsible persons from the Bank of China Paris Branch, The Export-Import Bank of China, Paris Branch, the European Representative Office of AVIC International Holding Corporation, Huawei Enterprise France, SANY France, the European Representative Office of Society of Science and Technology China Aerospace, DS Law Firm, and CMS Law Firm participated in the interview. They shared insights on the current state of business operations in France and provided evaluations of the business environment in France and Europe.
