In Brussels on April 19, China Chamber of Commerce to the EU (CCCEU), led by Secretary General Fang Dongkui, held work discussions with a visiting delegation from China's northern Hebei province. The delegation was led by Gao Jianfeng, Deputy Director of the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology.

CCCEU Secretary General Fang provided an overview of the  chamber's structure and mandate, highlighting its pivotal role in facilitating economic and trade relations between China and Europe. He emphasised the chamber's commitment to assisting Chinese enterprises in Europe, especially amid the current complex global environment.

Mr. Gao said his department aims to support the global expansion of local enterprises, including in European markets. He emphasized a willingness to strengthen exchanges and coordination with the chamber to ensure the stable growth of Hebei businesses in Europe. 

Following the working meeting, Fang presented the CCCEU's annual flagship report to the delegation.
