CCCEU, China Automobile Standardization Institute agree to advance cooperation

On January 10, 2024, Fang Dongkui, Secretary General of China Chamber of Commerce to the EU (CCCEU), held a meeting with Guo Miao, the Dean Assistant of the China Automobile Standardization Institute; Xie Dongming, the Director the China Automobile Standards Internationalization Center (Geneva) and Chang Yanning, the Deputy Representative. The two sides agreed to explore further cooperation in the automobile sector.

The meeting involved an in-depth exchange and discussion on the business environment for Chinese-funded enterprises in Europe, particularly the opportunities and challenges faced by Chinese automotive enterprises in expanding their operations in Europe.

Both parties exchanged in-depth opinions on the current status of Chinese automotive enterprises, and the problems, challenges, and opportunities they face in entering the European market. The two sides also reached a preliminary consensus on future cooperation and coordination between the CCCEU and the China Automobile Standardization Institute.
