On January 8, 2024, in Brussels, Belgium, Xu Chen, Chairman of China Chamber of Commerce to the EU (CCCEU), led a team to visit Ambassador Fu Cong, the head of the Chinese Mission to the European Union.

Chairman Xu Chen stated that CCCEU will continue to serve Chinese enterprises in Europe, protect their interests, help improve the business environment for Chinese enterprises in the EU, and play a significant role as the "General Chamber of Commerce" of China in the EU.

Ambassador Fu Cong warmly welcomed Chairman Xu Chen and the representatives of the enterprises. He expressed his hope that the business community will play a greater role in China-EU interactions, strengthen China-EU cooperation in research and development and innovation, continuously explore the potential of bilateral cooperation, and promote the development of China-EU economic and trade relations.

The representatives of the enterprises also introduced their development history and business operations in Europe to Ambassador Fu Cong.
