On the evening of July 19, 2023, China Chamber of Commerce to the EU (CCCEU) was invited to attend the 96th-anniversary reception of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, jointly organized by the Mission of China to the European Union and the Chinese Embassy in Belgium. This reception is the first one held by the mission and embassy after the COVID-19 crisis, providing an excellent platform for all participants to understand China's achievements and charm in national defense construction.
The reception took place at the Mission of China to the European Union, and it was attended by the Head Fu Cong of the Mission of China to the European Union, the Chinese Ambassador to Belgium Cao Zhongming, and Major General Yan Wenjing, the military representative of the Mission of China to the European Union. The Head of Mission Fu Cong and Major General Yan Wenjing delivered speeches at the reception.

The CCCEU Secretary-General, Fang Dongkui, the chamber’s secretariat team and  CCCEU members attended the reception.
