On Tuesday 28th March 2023, China Unicom Europe (CUE) has officially opened a new branch in Hungary, expanding its reach and services to Central and Eastern European market. The new office, located in Budapest, will serve as a hub for China Unicom's operations in Hungary and neighbouring countries.

The decision to open a new branch in Hungary was driven by the country's strong economy, skilled workforce, and strategic location. The new branch will leverage China Unicom Global's extensive network resources and leading ICT capability to deliver unparalleled global connectivity services and integrated communication and information solutions. It will also provide support for China Unicom's existing customers in the region, while simultaneously attracting new customers with its innovative and competitive products and solutions.
