COSCO SHIPPING Logistics and Supply Chain Management Provides "One-stop" Service to Facilitate Export of Great Wall NEVs

With a long whistle, a cargo ship carrying 200 new-energy vehicles (NEVs) from the brand of WEY owned by the Chinese auto manufacturer Great Wall slowly left the Port of Tianjin for Bremerhaven, Germany, where they will be unpacked and transported by road to customers in Munich. The successful delivery of the new service marks the concrete results achieved by the Beijing branch of COSCO SHIPPING Logistics and Supply Chain Management by focusing on the automotive logistics market segment and creating a new service geared to vehicle logistics needs.
To pave the way for the export of these NEVs, the project team straightened out the operational procedures and identified all the key links throughout the process, customizing an all-round port-to-door logistics plan to ship the cargoes from the Port of Tianjin to Bremerhaven by sea and then to Munich by road. Apart from this, the team also kept close contact with the customer for service provision. It ultimately took only four days to load onboard and dispatch all the 200 NEVs.
