On the morning of April 28, 2023, Mr. Xu Chen, the newly appointed Chairman of Bank of China (Europe) Limited, paid a visit to Ambassador Fu Cong, the Head of the Chinese Mission to the European Union. Minister Counselor Peng Gang was also present.

Chairman Xu Chen provided a brief introduction of Bank of China (Europe) Limited to Ambassador Fu Cong and Minister Counselor Peng Gang. Both sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual concern.

Secretary General Fang Dongkui of the CCCEU, Ms. Zhuang Xuehui, the Head of Brussels Branch of Bank of China (Europe) Limited, Mr. Gao Tianyang, the Director of Office of Bank of China (Europe) Limited, Ms. Liang Linlin, the Director of Communication and Research of the CCCEU, and Ms. Cao Qian, the Manager of Membership Development and General Affairs of the CCCEU, attended the meeting together.

Chairman Xu Chen later participated in the first Board of Directors meeting of the CCCEU in 2023.
