The iFLYTEK-German TÜV Rheinland Joint Intelligent Terminal Laboratory recently opened, with an official opening ceremony at iFLYTEK headquarters in Hefei. The partnership will enable cooperation to research and develop new technologies for improving display quality, charging safety, wireless transmission, information security, cleaning and sterilization, voice recognition and more.

Representing TÜV Rheinland at the event were Yang Jiajie, Vice President of BF Electrical of Greater China, Chen Wenhua, Regional General Manager of BF Electrical of TÜV Rheinland, and several guests from the certification business line of TÜV Rheinland. iFLYTEK was represented by Xie Xinzhen, Vice President of iFLYTEK Group, Fang Xiaowei, Deputy General Manager of iFLYTEK Hardware Center, and other iFLYTEK team members.

Vice President of iFLYTEK Group Xie Xinzhen emphasized in his remarks that safety, reliability, and environmental protection must be emphasized during the R&D and production of intelligent hardware. He highlighted how the joint laboratory will enhance the core technical advantages and brand influence of iFLYTEK and TÜV Rheinland. He also elaborated on his vision in three aspects, namely, exploring new fields, information sharing, and technology exchange.

Vice President of BF Electrical of TÜV Rheinland Greater China Yang Jiajie pointed out that the joint laboratory was a testament of each partner’s strengths and values. With the respective strengths that the two sides have contributed, the lab provides new opportunities and a platform for cooperation.

Deputy General Manager of the iFLYTEK Hardware Center Dr. Fang Xiaowei highlighted the core technologies of iFLYTEK and their industrial application. Manager Liu Daxing of TÜV Rheinland explained the "6+N" certification of the company and their goals in its cooperation with iFLYTEK. Tao Yumei, Director of iFLYTEK Hardware Center, provided an overview of the testing, standards, and certification capabilities of the intelligent hardware laboratory.

Cooperation between iFLYTEK and German TÜV Rheinland is longstanding and rooted in mutual success. T10. TÜV has engaged the early R&D stage TÜV low-blue-light certification for the iFLYTEK 13-inch high-definition screen with low blue light for its self-developed Learning Pad, which has helped further double reduction education policies in China.

The joint intelligent terminal laboratory highlights iFLYTEK and TÜV Rheinland’s efforts to boost strategic cooperation and innovation. In the future, we will continue to utilize our brand, technology, and information to deepen cooperation in speech recognition technology and product performance evaluation standards.
