Invitation| “CAI Impact on Chinese, European Businesses & Implementation Outlook” Webinar on June 8
Despite the impact of COVID-19 and the changing geopolitical climate, China-EU economic and trade cooperation has proven remarkably resilient and robust. China-EU bilateral trade surpassed 800 billion dollars in 2021, hitting a new high. The bilateral trade relationship remained solid in the first four months of this year.
The EU-China comprehensive agreement on investment, or CAI, is a landmark accord. According to a recent survey conducted by PwC and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) of over 500 Chinese and EU companies in China, more than 70% of European and Chinese respondents, particularly in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and new energy sectors, are confident about the future industry development on CAI.
The survey also uncovers which EU countries are the most appealing to Chinese investors, as well as the main drivers for Chinese investors to explore the EU and the difficulties and challenges that Chinese companies encounter while investing in the bloc.
The China Chamber of Commerce in the EU (CCCEU) invites experts from PwC to this webinar to discuss the survey's fascinating findings. We look forward to seeing you at the event.
