China-EU Yulin Economic Cooperation Forum held in Xi'an
The China-EU Yulin Economic Cooperation Forum was held on May 13 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.
It was one of the important activities held in the city during the ongoing 5th Silk Road International Exposition between May 11 and 15.
More than 120 domestic and foreign businesspeople were invited to participate in the online and offline forum to discuss cooperation and development.
Li Dongyu, vice chairperson of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, delivered a speech at the forum.
She said that Shaanxi province has seized the strategic opportunities of the Belt and Road Initiative in recent years. Xi'an promoted the construction of the China-EU Cooperation Industrial Park, which attracted enterprises from Germany, France, Switzerland and other European countries.
Li added that Yulin city is rich in natural resources, with obvious geographical advantages, profound history and culture, and remarkable achievements in ecological management.
She also sincerely welcomed European business representatives to visit Shaanxi and Yulin for sightseeing, investigation and research, investment and business development.
At the forum, Yulin signed six cooperation agreements. It also carried out interactive exchanges with relevant organizations and enterprise representatives, such as the Export Promotion Office of Ukraine and Israel Chamber of Commerce in China, focusing on the industries of intelligent unmanned vehicles, high-tech and new energy.
These exchanges have laid a foundation for further deepening cooperation.
