XU Haifeng

Mr. Xu Haifeng joined the China Chamber of Commerce to the EU (CCCEU) in 2021 and he served as the second chairman of the CCCEU. Concurrently, he also served as the Chairman of the Board of Director of Bank of China (Europe) S.A and General Manager of Bank of China Luxembourg Branch, since August 2020.

During his chairmanship of CCCEU, Mr. Xu led the Board of the CCCEU in its leadership function, guiding the CCCEU's decision-making process and strategic planning.

Throughout his professional career, Mr. Xu has gathered a long list of credentials in finance, investment and banking at international and national level. Before moving to Luxembourg in 2020, he served as the General Manager of the Hungarian Branch of Bank of China since 2018. From 2011 to 2017, he was the Executive Vice President of Bank of China, New York Branch. His long-standing career in Bank of China, which he joined in 1993, also includes previous experiences as Head of Division of the Corporate Banking Department at the Beijing Headquarters (2006-2011), as Head of the Corporate Banking Department in Luxembourg (2001-2006), and in Liaoning branch in China (1993-2001) respectively.

Mr. Xu Haifeng holds a master's degree in Business Management from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a bachelor's degree in International Finance from the Dongbei University of Finance and Economics.
