The board of directors of the China Chamber of Commerce to the EU (CCCEU) today approved the membership of China Soft Capital Management Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, China Soft Capital) in the CCCEU. The CCCEU chairperson, Ms Zhou Lihong, extended warm congratulations to China Soft Capital on behalf of the chamber.

Ms Zhou held a video conference today with Dr. Wang Guangyu, chairman of China Soft Capital, and Mr. Wang Zhisheng, executive partner of the European branch. Ms Zhou introduced the development process, vision and mission of the chamber, and highlighted the important tasks in 2020.

"We warmly congratulate China Soft Capital on becoming a member of the China Chamber of Commerce to the EU, which is committed to serving Chinese enterprises, realizing the mission of fostering China-EU economic relations, and creating prosperity together, "said Ms Zhou.

Mr Wang said that China Soft Capital will make full use of its strengths, deeply integrate into the chamber, strengthen cooperation with the chamber in policy research, corporate social responsibility and public diplomacy, and contribute to closer economic and trade relations between China and the EU.

China Soft Capital is committed to becoming the leader in science and technology finance, and has been honored as one of the top 10 private equity investment institutions in China for many years since its establishment in 2008. China Soft Capital is mainly engaged in science and technology venture capital and asset management, providing impetus for science and technology enterprises and the new real economy. The group is headquartered in Beijing, with branches in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hunan, Hubei, Guangdong, Hong Kong and the European Union.

On April 8 last year, Premier Li Keqiang inaugurated the CCCEU in Brussels, in the hope that the chamber will serve Chinese enterprises well and listen to their views, and build an image of China's "golden signboard". The CCCEU has 62 members, including collective members representing nearly 1,000 Chinese enterprises in Europe.
