CCCEU member Xiamen Torch Group Co., Ltd has donated the much-needed masks, of which 50,000 will be used in Toulouse hospitals in and the remaining 30,000 in Belgian hospitals.

Toulouse Hospital and Belgium's Federal Public Service of Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment have said they greatly appreciate the timely aid.

"We must soldier on as the situation is getting worse, not better, in Europe."

Sui Guoyu, chief economist of Xiamen Torch Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone said Xiamen Torch Group Co., Ltd is honored to play its part in delivering a helping hand.

"We hope this donation can be of some help in fighting the dangerous virus and we hope the situation can be turned around in a few weeks," Sui said. "We are looking forward to deepening our friendship and partnership."
